Our Story
Our journey began as a passion project. One rainy afternoon in Ireland, while trying to entertain my children without resorting to the TV, I stumbled upon their newfound love for photography. To keep them engaged, I dug out a box filled with old photographs, VCR tapes, and magazines. Little did I know, this box would become a treasure chest, revealing vintage photos of their dad, old tapes, and even some cassettes. My children were fascinated by it all—especially the photos—but they had no idea what the VCR tapes were. So, I had them remastered into digital format for them to explore.
That moment sparked their curiosity about our family’s history. They eagerly asked to see photos of themselves as babies and other family memories. The only problem was, aside from a few old albums on the shelf, all our other photos were stored on my phone or iPad. My children were disappointed and insisted on having physical prints. At the time, I didn’t own a printer, so I decided to take action. After struggling with various online album-making software, I realized how many challenges there were in the process. And that’s when the idea for the Year Book was born.
With over 20 years of experience in the design industry, I’ve always had a passion for creating—whether it’s software design, graphic design, or even something as personal as a family yearbook.
The Year Book is more than just a product; it’s a movement. I want to help you transform the photos on your phone or in the cloud into something meaningful—a keepsake you can share with loved ones for years to come.
Month by month, we continue to grow, and it fills me with joy to see how the Year Book has made such a positive impact in homes across the world, year after year.
